Baal-Berith and Milcom were both foreign deities condemned in the Deuteronomistic history. Both maintained temples in Israelite territory — Baal-Berith at Shechem (Judges 9) and Milcom's shrine near Jerusalem (1 Kings 11).
Chemosh and Milcom are condemned together in 1 Kings 11:5-7 and 2 Kings 23:13 as the national gods of Moab and Ammon respectively. Solomon built high places for both on the hills near Jerusalem.
Qos of Edom and Milcom of Ammon were both national patron deities of Transjordanian kingdoms neighboring Israel. Both functioned as Baal-type storm gods adapted to their respective peoples.
