Description

Gaulish goddess of horses, fertility, and the journey to the afterlife. Epona was one of the few Celtic deities adopted by the Romans, worshipped by cavalry units throughout the Empire. She is depicted riding sidesaddle or standing between horses, often with symbols of abundance.
