Dian Cécht fathered the healers Airmed and Miach, who together tended the wounded at the Well of Sláine. When Miach surpassed his father by restoring Nuada's arm in flesh, Dian Cécht slew him in jealousy, and Airmed gathered the healing herbs that grew from her brother's grave.
