  At Kom Ombo, Hathor appeared alongside Sobek as his consort in the form of Hathor-Sobeket, their union linking the Nile's fertility to the cow goddess's maternal abundance.

• Neith(parent)

  Neith was the mother of the crocodile god Sobek, her creative power encompassing the dangerous, fertile forces of the Nile that Sobek personified.

Aspect of

• Amun

  Sobek absorbed Amun's kingly and creative attributes in the Faiyum, becoming Sobek-Amun — the crocodile god crowned with Amun's double-plumed headdress and worshipped as a creator deity at Shedet.

• Ra

  Sobek merged with Ra as Sobek-Ra at the Faiyum and Kom Ombo, the crocodile god rising from the Nile waters each dawn as the living sun, primordial hunger and solar radiance united in one fearsome deity.
