Egill- Germanic HeroHero"The Archer"

Wayland's brother and a master archer who served in King Nidud's court. In the Þiðrekssaga, Nidud ordered Egill to shoot at the escaping Wayland to test whether his wings worked. Like Wayland, Egill had married a valkyrie swan-maiden who later flew away.
