• Anticlea(parent),Laertes(parent),Odysseus(sibling)— Marriage

  Laertes and Anticlea were the parents of Odysseus and his sister Ctimene. Anticlea died of grief during Odysseus's long absence, and he met her shade in the underworld.

• Eumaeus

  Eumaeus and Ctimene were raised together in Laertes' household on Ithaca. In Odyssey 15, Eumaeus recalls that Anticleia treated him almost as her own child alongside her daughter Ctimene.

• Eurycleia

  Eurycleia helped raise Ctimene, daughter of Odysseus' parents, in the household on Ithaca. Both Ctimene and the young slave Eumaeus were reared under Anticleia's and Eurycleia's care.
