    Laomedon, king of Troy, fathered both Tithonus and Priam. Tithonus was carried off by Eos before the fall of the first Troy, while Priam survived Heracles' sack of the city and rebuilt the kingdom.

Enemy of
  • Apollo and Poseidon served Laomedon for a year, building the mighty walls of Troy. When the work was done, Laomedon refused them their promised payment, threatening to cut off their ears and sell them as slaves.

Slain by
  • Heracles sacked Troy and killed Laomedon after the king refused to surrender the divine horses promised as reward for rescuing his daughter Hesione from a sea monster sent by the wronged Poseidon.

Associated with
  • Telamon fought alongside Heracles in the first sack of Troy, waged against Laomedon for refusing to pay the gods and Heracles for their services. Telamon was the first Greek to breach the Trojan walls.
