Description

The bodhisattva of compassion, one of the most widely venerated figures in East Asian Buddhism. In Japan, Kannon takes many forms, from the graceful Sho Kannon to the thousand-armed Senju Kannon. Kannon hears the cries of all suffering beings and works to save them.
