  Vanlandi married Drífa of Finland and fathered Vísburr during his stay there. After Vanlandi broke his oath to return, Drífa hired the witch Huld to kill him.

  Vísburr married the daughter of Auði the Wealthy and fathered Gisl and Öndur. He later divorced her and refused to return the bride-price, provoking his sons' vengeance.
