Nyurgun Bootur rides a divine steed bestowed by Dyesegei Aiyy — a horse of supernatural speed and endurance that carries him across impossible distances, from the Middle World down into the depths of the Abaahy realm and back, never faltering through any darkness or terror.
Ürüng Aiyy Toyon entrusted Dyesegei Aiyy with the care of horses, sending the first divine steed down from the Upper World so that the Sakha people would have the animal that sustains their life on the steppe and tundra.
