  Gogmo bore both Gesar and Gyatsa Zhalkar, making them half-brothers and kinsmen in the kingdom of Ling, where Gyatsa Zhalkar fought alongside Gesar in the campaigns against the demon kings.

• Drugmo(spouse)— Marriage

  Gesar won Drugmo as his bride by winning the great horse race across the plateau of Ling, claiming both the throne and the most beautiful woman in the kingdom in a single contest.

• Gogmo(parent)

  Gogmo gave birth to the divine child who would become King Gesar, raising him as the scorned outcast Joru in the harsh conditions of exile from the court of Ling.

  Hor King Gur dkar abducted Gesar's queen Drugmo during the hero's absence, triggering the great Hor War in which Gesar marched against the Hor kingdom to recover his wife and destroy their power.

  Gesar rode forth from Ling against the demon kings of the four directions, calling upon the drala and werma warrior spirits as his celestial allies while the Dud demons marshaled their dark armies to oppose him.

  The king of Hor abducted Drugmo during Gesar's prolonged absence on campaign, forcing the hero to suspend his war against the demon kings and march against Hor to recover his stolen queen.

  Kyang Go Karkar is Gesar's divine horse, a celestial steed that carried him to victory in the great horse race for the throne of Ling and accompanied him on all campaigns against the demon kings.
