Description
King of Ethiopia, husband of Cassiopeia, and father of Andromeda. Forced by an oracle to chain his daughter to a rock as sacrifice to the sea monster Cetus, he was saved from this fate by Perseus's arrival. He was placed among the stars as a constellation.
