The heavenly deities collaborated in the ritual before Ama-no-Iwato to lure Amaterasu from her cave. Omoikane devised the plan, Ishikoridome forged the mirror, Tamanoya crafted the jewels, Ame-no-Koyane and Futodama performed rites, Ame-no-Uzume danced, and Ame-no-Tajikarao pulled Amaterasu forth.
Ishikoridome forged the Yata no Kagami, the eight-span mirror whose surface blazed Amaterasu's own light back at her when she peered from the rock cave.
The five deities who attended Ninigi's descent from Takamagahara to the earthly realm: Ame-no-Koyane, Futodama, Ame-no-Uzume, Ishikoridome, and Tamanoya, as recorded in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki.
