• Mama Quilla(spouse),Mama Huaco(child),Mama Ocllo(child),Manco Capac(child)— Marriage

  Inti and his sister-wife Mama-Quilla produced the founders of the Inca dynasty. Manco-Capac and Mama-Ocllo were sent to earth from Lake Titicaca, while Mama-Huaco joined them as a fierce warrior-priestess in the founding of Cusco.

• Mama Cocha(parent),Viracocha(parent),Mama Quilla(sibling)— Marriage

  Viracocha and Mama-Cocha, the creator pair, produced Inti the sun god and Mama-Quilla the moon goddess, establishing the celestial order of the Inca cosmos.

• Kon(child)— Miraculous

  Kon is described as a son of Inti in coastal Peruvian traditions recorded by Cieza de León. A boneless wind deity, he was later overthrown by his brother Pachacamac.

• Pachacamac(child)— Miraculous

  Pachacamac is a son of Inti in the chronicles of Garcilaso de la Vega, a powerful deity who assumed dominion over the coastal earth.

  ⚠ Coastal Peruvian traditions present Pachacamac as an independent creator deity predating Inca solar worship. His identification as Inti's son may reflect Inca imperial syncretism rather than original coastal theology.

• Vichama(child)

  Inti fathered Vichama, a solar deity, who avenged his mother's death and transformed humanity from stones and eggs according to coastal Peruvian traditions.

• Acllacuna

  Inti presides over the Acllacuna, the Virgins of the Sun chosen from across the empire to maintain his sacred fires, weave ceremonial textiles, and brew chicha for his festivals.

• Chasca

  Inti holds dominion over Chasca, the Venus star, who serves as his attendant and page in Inca celestial mythology.

• Coricancha

  Inti presides over the Coricancha in Cusco, his principal temple whose walls were sheathed in gold and whose inner chambers housed the Punchao disk and mummified Sapa Incas.

• Hanan Pacha

  Inti rules Hanan Pacha, the celestial upper world, traversing it by day and illuminating the realm of the gods, stars, and righteous dead in Inca cosmology.

• Tapac Yauri

  Inti gave the golden staff Tapac Yauri to Manco-Capac, commanding him to travel until it sank into the earth of its own accord, marking the site for the Inca capital.

  On Inti's command, Ayar-Manco, Ayar-Cachi, Ayar-Uchu, and Ayar-Auca emerged from the cave of Tambo Toco with Mama-Huaco, Mama-Ipacura, and Mama-Raua to found the Inca state, as recorded by Sarmiento de Gamboa.

  Inti sent Manco-Capac and Mama-Ocllo from Lake Titicaca to found Cusco, giving Manco-Capac the golden staff Tapac Yauri to test the soil. Where the staff sank into the earth, the Inca capital was established.

• Isla del Sol

  Isla del Sol on Lake Titicaca was venerated as Inti's birthplace. The Inca built a major temple complex on the island where priests tended sacred fires and pilgrims honored the sun's origin.

• Pachacutec

  Before the decisive battle against the Chancas, Pachacutec received a solar vision from Inti promising victory. He then rebuilt the Coricancha in gold and elevated Inti's cult to imperial supremacy, as recorded by Sarmiento de Gamboa.

• Ukhu Pacha

  Inti was believed to travel through Ukhu Pacha each night after setting in the west, journeying through the underworld before emerging reborn at dawn in the east.
